A blue fish in the ocean forgets what happens to her all the time. However, she does remember one thing from her childhood.   She remembers her parents and the fact that they were separated from each other long ago.

This Thursday at 6 p.m., the Murphy Library is showing Finding Dory, a 2016 animated comedy film about a search for family starring Ellen DeGeneres. The film is rated PG and running time is 97 minutes. This movie also offers another chance to hear Louis Armstrong singing, “It’s a wonderful world.”

The next movie at the Murphy Library is about an acrobatic punk rock band called Peelander-z. It starts going through trying times when its lead guitarist wants to quit.

The library is showing Mad Tiger, a Film Movement documentary with drama and comedy this Thursday at 6 p.m. Running time is 82 minutes. The film is not rated but due to language would not be suitable for young people.

A divorced mom has two young kids to raise and crazy parents of her own to deal with. However, in spite of the chaos in her life, her creative side never stops coming up with ideas. Maybe one will change her life.

This Thursday at 6:00 p.m., the Murphy Library is showing Joy, a 2015 film about an inventor who is also a mom, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Running time is 124 minutes and the film is rated PG-13.
