Thank you, thank you, thank you to all Murphy Library patrons who have donated such wonderful items to the Silent Auction scheduled for August 19 and 20.

Do you have something special you want to include in our auction?  Bring it by the library and make the librarians smile.

Take a look at these:

Do you have a special friend who would like these bowls that Jeff Murphy holds? And check out the Romanian glass candlesticks on the book case. Cut glass will fit any decor.

Yes, cats are allowed to receive presents too.

And check out this beautiful Pfaltzgraff service for 8. Anyone you know getting married soon? What a lovely wedding gift this would be.

The award-winning local crochet artist Millie Crawford donated one of her princess dolls for your special princess.

If you want to see past blogs about the August 8 Auction, go to Categories in the column on the right and hit “Auction.”  Here are some photos of items:

The Murphy Library has the best patrons in the country.  These are just a few of the wonderful items donated for the August 8 auction.  Squint your eyes just like Robbie Burns would and you can see a little book of his poems.  Or check out Mike Lalone’s light blue-green vase.
