Dinner at Doyle’s Fundraiser on May 15 at 6 p.m. has a great auction item (and more items are always welcome)

Posted on: May 3, 2014

Friends of Murphy Library are holding our annual fundraising dinner at Doyles Cedar Hill Restaurant on Andrews Road in Murphy on Thursday, May 15, starting at 6 p.m. Doyle’s is filling our plates again with salad, chicken piccata, linguini, vegetables, coffee, tea and dessert.

Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased at the Murphy Library or $28 at the door at Doyle’s. Everyone is welcome. Call 837-2417 for details.

But that’s not all!!! That wonderful auctioneer Tim Ryan will be there to auction off some winning items. Chief among them (so far) is a beautiful black leather western saddle.

Leah Bryan, Murphy resident and daughter of Brenda and Charlie Bryan, likes riding horses along with reading Nancy Drew mysteries. She recently inspected the saddle on display at the library. 2014LeahBryanSaddle
The Fabtron hand-crafted western saddle includes tack, bit, and wooden stand, all in excellent condition.

Written bids for the saddle can be made at the library anytime. The final bidding will be conducted by Tim Ryan at the Doyle’s dinner on May 15. Additional auction items may be brought by the library anytime.
