Melissa Barker and Beth Rollins love working at the Murphy Library, especially when they help patrons find a book they will enjoy. Now they have also discovered a table with two stools that can give readers a fun place to open a book. It is part of the Friends’ yard sale, thanks to the generosity of retired librarian, Jeff Murphy.

The Friends of Murphy Library are holding their spring Trash to Treasures Yard Sale this Friday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the meeting room at the library. Do you collect pictures of lighthouses? This sale can add to your collection. Or better yet, you may find a chicken centerpiece just waiting to be discovered.   There is something for everyone.

Donations are also gratefully accepted anytime. Call 837-2417 for details.
