Tom Cruise, lots of action and the Vienna Opera at the Murphy Library this Thursday

Posted on: March 28, 2016

In Mission Impossible – Rogue Nation, the next Murphy Library film, Tom Cruise is in full glory along with lots of action, thrills and the Vienna State Opera. The library is showing this 2015 adventure on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The film is rated PG-13 and running time is 2 hours, 11 minutes.

Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is part of a special U.S. force that takes on the really tough jobs. But when the Senate disbands his team, he goes after the bad guys on his own.   Scenes were filmed in Morocco, Vienna, and throughout London and southern England.

What music does the opera perform? Songs such as Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s opera Turandot.  But don’t worry, the action backstage is what keeps you on edge.

Call the library at 837-2417.
