Rugrats in Paris has laughs for everyone, Thursday 3:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. at library

If movies made in Paris make you sigh, be prepared.  “Rugrats in Paris: The Movie” will make you laugh, and sigh.

The Murphy Library is showing “Rugrats in Paris” Thursday at 3:15 p.m. and again at 6 p.m.  It is animated.  The children are in diapers.  And it has laughs for adults, children and grandchildren.  Rated G, it runs 78 minutes.

Stu Pickles, inventor, has to go to Paris to fix his giant Reptar ride in a new Parisian amusement part.  His kids, his friend Chazz, and Chazz’ son Chuckie tag along.  Chazz lost his wife some time before and Chuckie is finally ready for his dad to fill that loss and start dating again.

Everyone else just wants to create chaos in the City of Lights.  There is the usual rugrats’ fascination with bodily functions, only this time in French.

And the music? It’s by Robert Mothersbaugh, the award-winning composer who composed music for “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist.”

Call the library at 837-2417.
