We’re “Up in the Air” on movie night

Posted on: June 15, 2010

Road warriors take heed.  The next movie at the Murphy Library is for you.

A businessman flies from coast to coast and all points in between.  His job?  Firing people – in a humane way.  Then a techie upstart figures out a better way, and his flying days may be over.

The library is showing “Up in the Air” Thursday at 6 p.m.  Directed by Jason Reitman (Juno) and starring George Clooney, it received six Oscar nominations for directing, writing, and acting. Rated R, the film runs 108 minutes. Call the library at 837-2417.

The Library is a very busy place this summer with lots of events
including the movies every week as well as all the preparations needed for the big Auction August 7, 2010.
However, we do not want to forget the Craft Sale and Book Sale to occur at the Library July 23 and July 24, 2010. All Proceeds from the Craft Sale will go to help support the Annual Spelling Bee.
